St. Vincent’s Carnival, or Vincy Mas, has an identity all of its own. Kicking off with an official launching in May, carnival celebrations stretch all the way through to July, culminating in the world famous street parties of J’Ouvert and Mardi Gras

In between there are a whole host of wonderfully entertaining events such as the Miss SVG competition, the Soca Monarch Competition, Miss Carival, the Junior Pan Fest and so much more. Band of The Year is a much sought after prize by those competing and partying during the Mardi Gras Parade of Bands, a fabulously colourful bonanza of costumes, music and dance.
